The VHS Athletic Banquet will be held at the First Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 11 at 6:00 pm. Please gather outside or in the Sanctuary before going in to the Banquet Hall. All VHS Athletes are expected to attend and a meal will be provided. Parents and guests will pay a fee of $10 per meal. The Awards Ceremony will take place after dinner in the Sanctuary.
VALLIANT JOM END OF YEAR EVENT
Valliant JOM will host an End of the Year Event on Thursday May 13th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Valliant Media Center. This event will take the place of our annual banquet with a ‘come and go’ for Valliant JOM Students/parent or guardians to pick up a cultural craft kit or a Choctaw book for JOM students. Due to the rain, the start times for the Class 3A Regional Baseball Tournament at Lone Grove today have been pushed back one hour. New start times are shown below:

Game 1 - 12:00 PM: Lone Grove vs Perry
Game 2 - 2:30 PM: Washington vs Valliant
Game 3 - 5:00 PM: Winner Game 1 vs Winner Game 2
Game 4 - 7:30 PM: Loser Game 1 vs Loser Game 2
Admission will be $7.00 for both adults and students. OSSAA Playoff Passes when shown with an ID will be the only passes that are accepted at the tournament.
Due to the rescheduling of the State Softball tournament, a substantial number of our staff have indicated they plan to attend tomorrow. As a result, we will be dismissing school on Wednesday, May 5 so that our staff, students, and community can attend the State Tourney in Shawnee. We encourage you to go and support the Lady Dawgs.
Hey Valliant! The Lady Dawgs Softball Team will be leaving today (Monday) at 3:00 pm for the State Tournament. They play at 2:30 tomorrow in Shawnee.
We would love for everyone to come out and see them off as they travel through town on their way to State! Make some noise and send them off in style.

I am sending this out to everyone to make you aware of the ticket sales process for the State Tournament on May 4 and 5.
On Tuesday, May 4, all classifications will be played at The Ballfields at Firelake. Brackets will be posted on Friday, April 30.
Tickets for Tuesday will be sold online only. You can find the link to purchase tickets on the homepage of OSSAA.com. Any ticket purchased for Tuesday, May 4 will be good for all day. Ticket prices are $11.50 for students and adults.
Tickets for the championships on Wednesday, May 5 will be sold online only. You can find the link to purchase tickets on the homepage of OSSAA.com. Ticket prices are $11.50 for students and adults and are only good for one game.
The facility will be cleared after each contest. There is a capacity limit at Hall of Fame Stadium, so to ensure that each schools fans are given an opportunity to watch their team, we must clear the facility.
The 2020-2021 OSSAA pass will be the only pass accepted, all others must have a ticket to enter.
The championship games times have been set as follows:

The MS Baseball Game for today (Tuesday) at Valliant has been cancelled due to weather. Baseball players need to report to the field at 4:00 to meet with Coach Rhoten.
Valliant 6, 7, and 8th Grade Boys and Girls Track teams will be competing at Holly Creek on Wednesday. The Bus will be leaving the school at 8:15 and the meet starts at 9:00.
Tomorrow is a huge day. The Valliant Lady Dawgs are playing in the State Tournament for the first time since 1964, and the first time ever in 5 on 5 basketball. 2pm in the Big House vs. Roland. You still have time to get tickets and make the trip to the State Fair Arena to support our girls. It has been a great season, but there is more to do. They need you to do it. Get your tickets at www.okstatefair.com and make that trip to OKC.
The Valliant Lady Bulldogs will be playing in the State Basketball Tournament on Wednesday at 2pm in OKC. A large number of our staff are planning to attend. As a result, we will be dismissing school on Wednesday only for our students and staff to attend the State Tournament. I hope you will join us in supporting the Lady Dawgs!
