Joe Jones begins his first year as the Valliant Bulldogs Head Football Coach, after a short stint in Wynnewood. He hopes to capitalize on the experience gained by young players last year, as he puts his stamp on the program.
Valliant is in the new 2A-II Classification as part of the Oklahoma Secondary Schools Activities Association (OSSAA). OSSAA split 2A into two classes, made up of 32 teams each. Valliant is in District 2A-II-4, along with Antlers, Atoka, Henryetta, Morris, Spiro, Vian, & Wilburton. Valliant's season opens with a non-district game at Idabel on August 30th. district play begins at Antlers, Thursday, September 26th.
