Reminder - There will be a community meeting concerning tomorrows bond election this afternoon at 6:30 in the auditorium. Our McCurtain County Treasurer , Brad Box, will also be in attendance to answer any questions regarding taxes.
Early voting starts today! You can vote early today and tomorrow at the McCurtain County Election Office until 6:00 pm.
The McCurtain County Health Department will be back on campus today from 9am-11am for students over 12 and staff that are wanting their 1st or 2nd dose of the COVID vaccine. A parent must be with the student in order for the child to be vaccinated.
The JH Football game scheduled for Thursday, Sept 8 has been cancelled due to Foreman Team in quarantined.

You will have an opportunity to invest in our school, community and most importantly our youth. You will have an opportunity to vote on a bond with a NO projected tax increase on September 14th, 2021.
There are two more community meetings scheduled, to explain in detail, the bond specifics and address any questions you may have. The first will be Tuesday September 7th at the McDaniel Livestock Exchange near Millerton at 6:30 pm. The second will also be at 6:30 pm on September 13th and begin in the Valliant auditorium. Facilities will be open so patrons may see inside the buildings.

Any staff or student that may still have a school issued hotspot needs to return the device to the media center by the end of this week. The current models have been recalled due to the batteries catching on fire. Verizon will be sending us replacements as soon as the old ones are collected.

The VHS Athletic Banquet will be held at the First Baptist Church on Tuesday, May 11 at 6:00 pm. Please gather outside or in the Sanctuary before going in to the Banquet Hall. All VHS Athletes are expected to attend and a meal will be provided. Parents and guests will pay a fee of $10 per meal. The Awards Ceremony will take place after dinner in the Sanctuary.
VALLIANT JOM END OF YEAR EVENT
Valliant JOM will host an End of the Year Event on Thursday May 13th from 3:00-6:00 p.m. at the Valliant Media Center. This event will take the place of our annual banquet with a ‘come and go’ for Valliant JOM Students/parent or guardians to pick up a cultural craft kit or a Choctaw book for JOM students.
