VALLIANT MIDDLE SCHOOL BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT UPDATE: Due to the 6th grade Battiest girls team not being able to play today, the Battiest/Valliant girls game at 6pm has been cancelled; the Valliant girls will advance to the championship game. The Haworth/Valliant boys game that was originally scheduled for 7pm will be moved to 6pm tonight, 11/7. See the updated brackets for more information.
The Valliant Middle School basketball tournament continues tomorrow, Thursday, 11/7. Come out and support your team. The first game begins at 4pm, and we hope to see you all there.
Elementary will have Christmas Pictures available for students on Tuesday, Nov 12th. Envelopes were sent home this week and should be returned no later than the 12th.
We hope to see everyone at the County Cheer Preview on Wednesday, November 6th supporting your VHS Game Day Cheer Team as well as all county teams.

Valliant Student Council attended State OASC at Bartlesville. They received recognition as Oklahoma State’s Gold Council of Excellence and a National Council of Excellence.
Due to the possible threat of severe weather we will be dismissing at 2:30 today in order for our bus routes to be run safely before the storm hits. Buses will leave the campus at 2:40. The high school safe room will be open this evening for anyone that needs shelter. Please keep all pets in a crate.

Congratulations to Valliant players and coaches on another district win over Wilburton 34-14.
The VHS Student Council went to Oklahoma Association of Student Council Fall Conference on October 23rd at McAlester. The VHS StuCo was announced as an Oklahoma Gold Chapter of Excellence at the conference. They will receive their award this coming weekend at State Conference.
Mrs. Chandler's Foundations of Teaching class decorated the door for Red Ribbon Week and Halloween.
